Cyclone Mocha turned northern Rakhine State upside down. All houses disappeared; the churches were turned down. The people became jobless and most of the people have been without shelter. That is why we set E-Ɍelief Team (E stands for emergency) to help the victims.
We raised funds and distributed them through the preachers. We face the enormous demand and little capability. But we are happy for what we have been able to help. The Lord is working no matter how the cyclone hit the people. Many have turned to the Lord through relief program.
I cannot mention the exact number because there is no phone in most villages. I got report from Sittwe, Bunna Kyun and Bauk Daw townships. Five new Churches have been born. Many Buddhists have been attending the church in Sittwe. They keep coming. They say they are coming because they have unspeakable peace at the Church. 42 people came to the Lord in Kweedae village. We did not expect that much indeed. The Lord made it possible. Head of the village gave a land to build the church in Payun Bauk village. I tell you the truth, it is impossible to grant a land by a Buddhist in this country. The Lord can use anyone to glorify His name. Now new Christians are building a church on that land.
Please pray…. The battles are everywhere except Yangon, Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin, and Putao. Inflation is higher and higher. We need peace.
